Old Fashioned Nana Puddin'

Ingredients

sugar

| 2 tablespoons |
all-purpose flour

| 2 cups |
milk
|
| 4 |
egg yolks, slightly beaten
|
| 1 teaspoon |
vanilla
|
| 1 box |
Murray® Vanilla Wafers cookies
|
| 3 small |
ripe bananas, sliced
|
| 1 tub (8 oz) |
frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
|
Directions
1. In medium saucepan stir together sugar and flour. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens slightly and boils.
2. Gradually stir about half of hot mixture into yolks. Return yolk mixture to hot mixture in saucepan. Cook and stir until mixture boils. Boil gently for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.
3. In 2-quart dish layer half of MURRAY Vanilla Wafers. Top with half of bananas. Pour half of pudding mixture over top. Repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve with whipped topping.
